Ahead of monsoon's arrival, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. is all set to start ‘Pre-Monsoon Check-up Camps’ in selected Yamaha dealerships. The Pre Monsoon Check Up camps will be organised from 1st June 2019. The camps will offer ’14 essential points-based’ free check-up as a part of improved vehicle care during the monsoons. Yamaha two-wheeler customers can avail ‘14 essential points-based’ vehicle check-up along with discounts on helmets, accessories, ‘periodic service labor charges’ and ‘periodic service genuine parts’.
Announcing the commencement of Pre-Monsoon Check-up Camps, Ravinder Singh, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Planning, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said, “As a responsible two-wheeler manufacturer, the company is committed to ensure high standards of safety. While Yamaha vehicles are equipped with minimal risk features, the check-up camps will help to further enhance the overall riding experience during the rainy season. A safe-riding experience, particularly during monsoon will come along with discounts on selected assortments of genuine parts and accessories from Yamaha."
Earlier, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer had announced the production achievement of 10 million units in India. "IYM achieved this feat since it began its operations in India in 1985. IYM's three manufacturing facilities at Surajpur, Faridabad and Chennai jointly contributed to the overall production achievement of the company till date. The 10 millionth product rolled out at this ceremony was Yamaha's best-selling motorcycle model FZS-FI Version 3.0 from its Chennai factory. The event witnessed the presence of senior management members from Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., Japan, Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies, Mitsui & Co. Ltd., Vendor park companies, employees and employee representatives," a Yamaha statement said.
