Geneva Auto Expo 2019: Tata Motors to unveil 4 new cars - All details here
Ahead of the show, Tata has already launched the teaser of its upcoming cars through its Twitter account.
Tata Motors will be celebrating its 21st year in Geneva International Motor Show by launching four new cars. Among them is their much awaited Tata H7X, popularly known as 7 seater Harrier or the Buzzard. Apart from this, the passenger car maker will also unveil Altroz, Altroz EV and Hornbill. Ahead of the show, Tata has already launched the teaser of its upcoming cars through its twitter account.
Among the most awaited one is the Tata's H7X, which is expected to be longer externally, and will offer more cabin space in comparison to its younger sibling the 5 seater Harrier. It is designed in the new IMPACT DESIGN 2.0 language, similar to Tata’s Harrier and Altroz. The diesel engine will be Krytec 2.OL, four-cylinder, with an exhaust after treatment system to deliver extremely low carbon footprint. This model will be compliant with BS-VI emission norms produce a maximum output of 170hp and 350Nm of torque.
Equipped from South Korean carmaker, Hyundai, the H7X will debut a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque automatic gearbox.
According to Tata Motor's website, the rear of the SUV will be slightly boxy and elevated. The third row of seating will board more passengers and will have ample of head space due to the upright structure. The car also sports features based on Land Rover’s D8 platform, called OMEGARC (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture). The H7X also has 18-inch alloy wheels which add to the appeal of the car.

Meanwhile, the Hornbill is designed in Advanced Modular Platform (Alpha Arc), giving it a micro-SUV stance. The car will be powered by BS VI compliant 1.2 litre petrol engine with micro hybrid technology to keep a check on emissions.
Further, the Altroz, Tata’s first ever car to have Agile Light Flexible Advanced or ALFA with 16-inch alloy wheels . The car will have an aerodynamic and sporty exterior, based on IMPACT 2.0 design language. It has been named after the bird of prey Albatross that can fly great lengths without a break. The car will be powered by 1.2 litre aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine with mild hybrid technology to enhance efficiency. Its diesel variant will be powered by a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine.
