Skoda India rolls out 100,000th RAPID; milestone vehicle is Monte Carlo - How it was made? WATCH
It's a big feather in the cap of automotive giant Skoda in India. According to the latest development, the Czech car maker on Tuesday rolled out the 100,000th unit of its mid-sized sedan Rapid. The milestone vehicle, a SKODA RAPID Monte Carlo, was produced at the Volkswagen Group production facility in Chakan, Pune. Skoda Rapid was first time introduced here in 2011 followed by a refreshed version in 2016.
Commenting on the celebration of the new milestone in the Skoda’s history, Zac Hollis, Director – Sales, Service and Marketing, SKODA AUTO India said, "The RAPID continues to offer a compelling combination of the brand’s emotive design, exquisite interiors, leading safety as well as intelligent connectivity features. Skoda sharing a video on YouTube wrote, "SKODA is marking the production of its 100,000th Rapid in India today. Made in India, Made for India. Watch the making of 100,000th SKODA Rapid Monte Carlo." WATCH:-
Skoda Auto India has been operating in India since November 2001 as a subsidiary of SKODA AUTO.
As of now, Skoda has 4 models on sale in India – SKODA SUPERB, SKODA OCTAVIA, SKODA RAPID and SKODA KODIAQ.
