British niche motorcycle maker Triumph on Friday launched its new model Triumph Thruxton R, priced at Rs 10.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Thruxton R, powered by a 1,200cc engine, is one of the three motorcycles in the company's new Bonneville family of bikes available in India, Triumph Motorcycles India said in a statement.
Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Vimal Sumbly said combination of power, performance, and incorporation of contemporary technology will make the Thruxton R an attractive option for cafe racers riders in India.
Triumph Motorcycles India sells 15 global models in the country and has already sold close to 3,000 units in over two years of operations in India.
It has 12 dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi.
