TVS launches Kargil edition of TVS Star City+: Check design, price of this limited edition bike

In a tribute to the spirit and attitude of the Indian soldier, the Kargil edition of TVS Star City+ has been launched by TVS Motor Company at a price of Rs 54,399 (ex-showroom, Delhi). According to TVS Motors, the Kargil edition of TVS Star City+ is inspired by the peaks, unforgiving terrain of the Kargil war along with the steely determination and discipline of the Indian soldiers who protect us day and night, reported NDTV.

The motorcycle comes with the dual-tone color scheme of white and green along with camouflage graphics. The Kargil emblem is also placed at the rear side of the vehicle. The emblem denotes the indomitable spirit of every Indian, TVS Motor said.

The motorcycle does not get any mechanical changes and comes with the same 110 cc single-cylinder engine which produces 8 bhp and 8.7 Nm of peak torque along with 4-speed transmission. According to TVS, this motorcycle will be a limited edition and is now available across select dealerships.

The bike gets a single cradle frame along with telescopic front forks up front and twin rear shock absorbers. The braking of the bike is via 130mm front and 110mm rear drum with Sync Braking Technology.
