Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Jio revise tariff plans; which one should you recharge with?
Keeping up with the competition, telecom operators have began tweaking their plans to include more benefits to subscribers.

Telecom operators in India have started to revise their existing monthly tariff plans to include more benefits to subscribers. A month earlier telcos were focused on introducing newer plans after Reliance Jio revisited its offers under Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan.
The revised plans by the operators range from small changes of making outgoing calls on roaming free to increasing the amount of data per plan.
Here are the revised/ new plans subscribers can choose from:
Airtel Rs 349 plan
India’s largest telecom operator, Airtel had revised this plan in October to pack free calls on roaming in the monthly tariff plan. Now the operator has increased the data offered in the plan to 1.5GB instead of the 1GB offered earlier.
The new plan now offers local and STD calls,1.5GB data per day, as well as outgoing in national roaming and 100 SMS free.
Calls have been limited to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
Airtel Rs 448 plan
This plan is available to select users via the MyAirtel app. The company announced 70GB for 70 days to its users.
It comes with 1GB of 3G/ 4GB data per day, unlimited local and STD calls, free outgoing calls on roaming, and 3,000 bundled SMSes.
Vodafone Rs 349 plan
In Vodafone’s Rs 349 plan the company has also increased the data benefit to customers. The plan now includes 1GB data per day of 4G/3G data along with local and STD calls even while roaming in India.
Idea Rs 179 plan
Another case of old plan with new benefits is that of Idea Cellular’s Rs 179 plan. Customers that recharge on Idea’s official website will be entitled to 1GB data extra on this tariff plan.
The pre-paid plan which is applicable for any type of handset (4G/3G/2G) across the country will be valid for 28 days.
Reliance Jio Rs 399
In keeping with the trend, Reliance Jio in October tweaked its Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. Its Rs 399 plan now has a validity of 70 days instead of the earlier 84 days.
It now offers free calling for local, STD and on roaming with 70GB data capped a 1GB per day and 64Kbps thereafter.
