'Amazing' Uber offers: Rs 555 discount on flights, 50% cashback on movie tickets and more; how to get

Uber is giving various offers under its Ridesmart Rewards scheme valid for September month only. The scheme has discount offers for Uber Eats, Paytm and on Uber rides as well. All you will have to do is to buy the Uber Ridesmart Rewards.

"Unlock amazing deals on Uber with Ridesmart Rewards. Also get exciting Uber Eats and Paytm offers on flights and movies! Limited passes available at INR 49 only, this September!" said Uber in a promotional newsletter.

But what is Ridesmart?

"Ridesmart Rewards lets you unlock amazing deals on Uber for a period of 28 days. You also get exciting Paytm offers on flights, movies, paytm mall and exclusive offers on Uber Eats," said Uber.

What is on offer:

* Deal on Uber Ride: Uber says customers opting for Uber Ridesmart will get attractive offers. However, it has not specified any deals.

* Paytm offer: Uber has tied up with Paytm to offer a discount of up to Rs 555 on flights and 50% cash-back on 2 movie tickets.

Customers can use code ‘FLYPASS’ to get 20% cashback up to Rs 500 on flight ticket bookings while promo code ‘UBERPASS’ will allow users to get 50% cash back up to Rs 149 while booking 2 or more tickets on the Paytm app, show the offer mentioned in the newsletter.

There is an additional offer as well.

"Enjoy 7% cashback on flight ticket bookings (promocode: FLYPASS), 20% cashback on movie tickets (promocode: USUB200) and 30% cashback (promocode: MALLUBER) on Paytm,"  it said.

* Uber Eats: Uber will offer discounts on Uber Eats order for customers who have bought Ridesmart Rewards .

How this works:

1. Select your package

Navigate to the ‘Ride Pass’ option in your Uber app. Select a Ridesmart Rewards and pay an activation fee.

2. Pay with Paytm

Currently, you can buy Ridesmart Rewards only using your Paytm wallet. However, you can pay for your trips using any payment method of your choice.

3. Lock in exciting offers

After your purchase, get exciting offers on movies and flights courtesy Paytm, discounts on food orders via Uber Eats, and assured savings on Uber rides.
