Eicher Motors' November sales up by 41%, shares gain
Motorcycles with engine capacity up to 350 cc saw sales of 52,359 units, up by 40% from 37,455 units in November 2015. Models exceeding 350 cc stood at 4,954 units, increasing by 49% versus 3,314 unit in same month a year ago.
Eicher Motors, manufacturer of Royal Enfield, reported 41% rise in November 2016 sales. The company sold 57,313 units of motorcycles compared to 40,769 units a year ago same period.

The company's export recorded growth of 222% by selling 1,470 units against just 457 units of November 2015.
Year-to-date, Eicher Motors have sold 4,30,864 motorcycles, which is 35% growth from 3,19,515 units in corresponding period of the previous year.
After, the November sales announcement, shares of Eicher Motors rose by 688.95 points or 3.18% on BSE, trading at Rs 22,364.35 per share.
