Flipkart partners with Axis Bank to launch co-brand credit card - Check benefits

E-commerce site Flipkart has partnered with Axis Bank and Mastercard to launch its first co-branded 'Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card'. "Presenting the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card powered by @mastercardindia, with Unlimited Cashback. The Card was jointly launched by Amitabh Chaudhry, MD & CEO, Axis Bank; Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO, Flipkart and @ari_sarker, Co-President, @MastercardAP," Axis Bank tweeted.

The card will be offered to select users in July, which will be extended to more users in the coming weeks. The users who want to activate their Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card need to pay a joining fee of Rs. 500. After that, users will be charged yearly fee of Rs. 500. 

The Flipkart-Axis Bank Credit card offers users with a five per cent flat discount on purchases from Flipkart along with Myntra and 2Gud. Also, the card offers 4 per cent cashback on preferred merchants such as Uber, PVR, Urbanclap, MakeMyTrip, PVR & Goibibo.

In addition to these, it offers many welcome and activation benefits. Here is the list for all the offers that you can avail after the activation of card:
1. Rs. 500 worth Flipkart vouchers on your first transaction anywhere with your Flipkart axis bank credit card
2. Six months complimentary Gaana subscription
3. Rs. 500 off on domestic hotel booking with Goibibo on a minimum booking of Rs. 2,000 with promo-code, "GIAXISFK"
4. Rs. 500 off on domestic hotel booking with Makemytrip on a minimum booking of Rs. 2,000 with promo-code, "MMTAXISFK"
5. 15 per cent cashback up to Rs. 500 on first transaction on Myntra
6. 20 per cent instant discount up to Rs. 400 for new Urban Clap customers via using promo-code, "AXISFLIPKART"

Users need to note here that the cashback amount will be automatically credited in the customer account every month.
