Here comes Airtel with 'Mega Saver Pack' to raise data competition

Bharti - Airtel - largest telecom service provider, to strenghten its data users base, announced the launch of Mega Saver Pack for prepaid customers.
These mega saver pack are made available in two denominations and offer great value to data users.
The Rs 1498 pack offers 1 GB/3G data upfront with a validity of 28 days. Post exhaustation of this data limit, the customer can now relish 1 GB 4G/3G recharges for just Rs 51 over a period of 12 months.
In the number of recharges, there will be no limit cap and higher the number of recharges the more value a customer gets.
Secondly, the Rs 748 pack offers similar 4G/3G data upfront and post exhaution of this data limit. Customers can enjoy data 1 GB 4G/3G data recharges fur just Rs 99 with a period of six months. Similaryly, there will be no limit in the recharges.

Customers can save more with every subsequent recharges.
At present, Airtel offers 1GB of 3G or 4G mobile internet for Rs 259 valid for 28 days.
This move also comes at a time when key telecom players such as Idea Cellular and Vodafone are in the price war. One can say such effect to be boosted by Reliance Jio, which is gearing up to launch its 4G services and has already come up with various offers under its smartphone LYF devices. It has extended its trial services to all LYF devices users under the Jio LYF Preview Offer.
