Idea introduces Rs 397, Rs 169, Rs 145 plans; here’s what you need to know
Monthly recharges by Idea Cellular are on the rise again. Which one should you recharge by?
The telecom arm of the Aditya Birla Group, Idea Cellular, has introduced new tariff plans. To match the competition in the telecom sector, operators have been tweaking and introducing new plans to customers.
Here are the plans introduced.
To add to the prevalent bundled handset plans, Idea has partnered with Karbonn to offer A41 Power, A9 Indian and the Yuva 2 smartphone.
On the Karbonn A41 Power and A9 Indian, cashback of Rs 1,500 will be provided. For the Yuva 2, cashback of Rs 2,000 will be given.
The cashback will be credited into the customers’ Idea Money, which can only be used for future recharges on the company’s network.
However, to avail of these plans, customers need to have a cumulative recharge value of Rs 3,000 for the first 18 months and the same amount during the next 18 months period.
Rs 169 plan
Idea is offering customers of Karbonn smartphones on its network a chance to recharge with this plan. It offers unlimited local and STD calls including roaming calls, 1GB data per day, and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
Rs 145 plan
A cheaper plan of Rs 145 has been introduced by the company. However, this will be applicable for feature phone users only. The plan gives them unlimited voice calls, 500 SMS and 500MB of data for 28 days.
Rs 397 plan
This plan by Idea offers 5GB 3G data to customers, along with unlimited local, national, and roaming calls. The Idea Rs 397 recharge plan is currently available for Idea prepaid customers via both MyIdea app and Idea website.
