Maruti Suzuki opens up online booking for Baleno RS

Highlights:

1. Maruti Suzuki India will launch Baleno RS on March 3 this year

Maruti Suzuki India announced an online booking of its hatchback car Baleno RS starting from Monday this week. 

Maruti Suzuki will launch Baleno RS on March 3 this year.

Baleno hatchback will be built at Suzuki Motor’s facility in Gujarat state in the Western part of India, Bloomberg reported quoting Maruti Suzuki chairman R C Bhargava as saying to reporters in New Delhi on Thursday last week. 

According to Maruti Suzuki's NEXA showroom website, on the interior front, Baleno RS has metal finish inside door handles and metal finish tipped parking brake with multi information speedometer display and leather wrapped steering wheel. 

Moreover, the car possesses glove box illumination, luggage room illumination and front foot-well illumination.

On the exterior front, the car has chrome door handles, body coloured ORVMs, body coloured bumpers, chrome accent front grille, turn indicators on ORVMs, black alloy wheels, daytime running lamps with LED, rear combination lamps with LED, projector headlamps, among others. It possesses UV cut glass for front doors, rear doors and Qtr glass. 

For safety and security, Baleno RS comprises of anti-theft security system, front and rear disc breaks, dual horn, headlamp levelling, front fog lamps and auto headlamps, pinch guard power window for driver seat, child seat tether anchorages and auto diming IRVM. 

On the engine front, the car has 998 engine capacity with maximum power at 75/5500 kW and maximum torque at 150/1700-4500 Nm. Baleno RS has only petrol fuel type version.

For entertainment, Baleno RS buyers will get SmartPlay Infotainment System, bluetooth, AUX & USB, steering mounted audio control, navigation system, voice command, smartphone connect/Apple CarPlay and remote control through smartphone app. 

Besides, the car has central locking system, remote keyless entry, power windows on front and rear, auto-up power window for driver seat, auto AC, height adjustable driver seat,electronically foldable ORVMs, seat adjustable headrest for front and rear, front centre armrest with storage, front and rear accessory socket.
