New competition in town! BSNL beats Reliance Jio, Airtel, offers huge 4GB data at just Rs 149
BSNL today launched a recharge pack priced at Rs 149 where it is giving massive 4GB data daily for 28 days.
A new wind is blowing in telecom sector and Indian citizens are all set to gain in a major way from it. There was a time not so long ago when subscribers struggled to even get 1GB data for a month, but things have changed since Reliance Jio stepped in telecom market. This Mukesh Ambani company went big with heavy data and unlimited call at cheap rates, and in latest move it has once again lured customers by giving between 3GB data per day to 6.5GB data per day in all prepaid recharge packs. With RJio move, one would definitely expect rivals like Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone to react with new recharge packs, but guess who beat even Reliance Jio today? It is state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), which went even bigger than RJio! BSNL today, launched a recharge pack priced at Rs 149 in which it is giving a massive 4GB data daily for 28 days!
BSNL’s new recharge pack is called FIFA World Cup Special Data STV 149 which is going to be valid from June 14 to July15. This new recharge pack is reportedly available for purchase across all BSNL official website and major recharge outlets.
This pack counters RJio and Airtel’s Rs 149 recharge pack.
RJio on Tuesday launched a Double Dhamaka plan by revising two packs namely Rs 149 and Rs 399.
The Rs 149 pack has been revised to Rs 120 under which RJio is giving a total 84GB data for 28 days which would mean a user will get to enjoy 3GB data per day.
Then the second recharge pack of Rs 399 has been revised to Rs 299 where RJio is offering overall 252GB data for 84 days which works out to 3GB data per day.
This RJio’s Double Dhamaka plan is available till end of June 2018.
If that is not enough then, RJio is also giving 20% cashback on this new recharge packs alongside 1.5GB additional data available on all daily recurring recharges in the month of June.
Recently Airtel launched a Rs 149 pack and Rs 558 pack in order to take on RJio by offering 2GB data and 3GB data per day for 28 days and 82 days.
Considering above, BSNL has gone an extra mile in keeping itself afloat in telecom market.
Last week, BSNL also announced Fibro Combo ULD 777 plan of where it is giving a data FUP of 500GB at a speed of 50Mbps for a period of 30 days at just Rs 777. There is another plan of the state-run telecom operator which is called as Fibro Combo ULD 1277 offering massive 750GB and at speed of up to 100Mbps.
With this plan, BSNL is expected to do better in the competitive market where each player is competing for a pie of the market. For that telecom service providers are coming up with cheapest plans. These two plans of the state-owned company is likely to beat the competition.
