Recruitment 2018: US tech giant Apple on hiring spree at Hyderabad centre
In May, 2017, the Cupertino, California-based tech giant, had opened its development centre in Hyderabad, to focus on development of Maps for its products, including iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.
Those who wish to be part of Apple's team, here is an opportunity. The US technology firm is on hiring spree for its development centre in Hyderabad. Jayesh Ranjan, principal Secretary IT and Industries, Telangana, stated that "Apple has taken 3,500 people so far for their development centre in Hyderabad. They will totally hire 5000 people eventually."
In May, 2017, the Cupertino, California-based tech giant, had opened its development centre in Hyderabad, to focus on development of Maps for its products, including iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.
The California-based tech firm had then stated that the investment in the facility centre will accelerate Maps development and create up to 4,000 jobs.
Meanwhile, Jayesh Ranjan also inaugurated Pactera Technologies' first office in India in Hyderabad.
Pactera Technologies' Hyderabad office reflects its strategic focus on becoming an industry leading provider of IT services on a global scale, the company statement said.
The new office can seat 150 people in Phase 1 and additional 300 people in Phase 2.
The Pactera statement stated that abundant talent that is currently part of Pactera would help contribute much more to the digital and innovation world. This would also help the company grow to 3,000 people organization in the next 2-3 years.
Notably, Apple is planning to launch three new smartphones -- iPhone 9, iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Plus -- on September 12, said the Inquirer report, adding "If the rumours are legit, the iPhone 9 will be Apple`s `entry-level` offering and will pack an iPhone X like 6.1-inch LCD screen with room up top for Face ID."
"The iPhone 11 and 11 Plus -- also referred to as the iPhone X2 and iPhone X Plus -- will sport 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED displays, respectively, with rumours also pointing to souped-up camera setups, an upgraded 7nm A11 CPU, and a brand new USB-C charger, the Inquirer report added.
It also stated that iPhone 9 will be the most-affordable smartphone by Apple in 2018.

Market research firm TrendForce has reportedly claimed that Apple`s 2018 iPhones will offer Apple Pencil support and up to 512GB built-in storage.
