Rustom Irani appointed new MD of Hitachi Payment Services
Meanwhile, Loney Antony elevated to Vice Chairman and Non-Executive Director of the Board of Directors
Rustom Irani has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Hitachi Payment Services Pvt. Ltd. (Hitachi Payments). Additionally, he is also the CEO of the Cash Business and will soon be a part of the company's board by April 1 2019. Rustom Irani has served the company for the last 8 years, as the Chief Operations Officer of Hitachi Payment Services. Last April, he assumed the role of CEO of the company’s Cash Business.
Prior to that he was holding the position of Director of Operations, Technology, Field Engineering & Channel Management groups. He has served with MindTree as the Senior Vice President before joining Hitachi Payments. Rustom has also worked with Sify, Yahoo India and Citibank India’s Technology Division.
Meanwhile, Loney Antony, the former Managing Director since the inception of Hitachi Payments, will now assume a larger advisory board advisory role of Vice-Chairman and Non-Executive Director of the Board of Directors of Hitachi Payments & Mentor to the Leadership Team. Moreover, he will also be an advisor for the expansion of Global Payments business and the Social Innovation Business of Hitachi.

Further, Jayant D’Mello will maintain his position of Director, International Business. He has been leading sales and strategy at the firm since its inception. He holds the responsibility of expanding the payments business for Hitachi payments in the international market.
Last June, Navtej Singh joined as the CEO of Digital Business of Hitachi Payments. He will also focus to drive the merchant acquiring joint venture with SBI. Sumil Vikamsey will continue in his role as Director-Finance & Human Resources.
