Want home loan? SBI will give you this discount

As we have come close to the year-end, there are still some surprises for someone planning to take a home loan. The year 2018 has been full of offers and services provided by banks. SBI has now come up with a different strategy to attract home loan customers.

The country's largest lender, State Bank of India, is waiving off the processing fees on SBI Home Loans.

Yes, you have read it right!

SBI used to charge Rs 10,000 on home loan as processing fee. It is now offering the service for free. This special offer is valid until 31st December 2018. 

SBI tweeted, "Nothing compares to the joy of living in your very own home! We’re here to add to your joy by waiving off the processing fees on SBI Home Loans. Avail the benefit before 31st December 2018."

SBI home loan also offers a special interest rate for women, which is 8.65% for salaried women and for non-salaried female borrowers, the bank offers 8.80% interest rate.

As for other salaried borrowers, SBI levies 8.70% of interest rate and for Non-Salaried borrowers, the interest rate is at 8.95%.

The bank does not charge any prepayment charges for home loans. So you have the chance to save a big amount on your home loan by banking through SBI.
