7th Pay Commission latest news: Indian Railways announces huge vacancy; Get pay up to Rs 63,200, apply online

7th Pay Commission latest news: Here is a big chance for those interested in government jobs to work for the Indian Railways arm, Western Railway. It has invited applications for recruitment to various posts. As per the official notification, the vacancies are for sportspersons. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts on or before February 6, 2020. They can start applying for the vacancies from tomorrow ie, 7th January 2020. Interestingly the selected candidates will be paid as per 7th Pay Commission salary system. 

7th Pay Commission Pay scale
Candidates applying for the post of Level 2 (Gr. C) will get the pay scale of Rs 19,900 - 63,200/- and Level 1(Erstwhile Gr. D) Rs 18,000 - 56,900/- receptively.

Opening date of online application submission: January 7, 2020
Closing date of online application submission: February 6, 2020

Level 2 (Gr. C) 2 posts
Level 1(Erstwhile Gr. D) 12 posts

Education Qualification:
For Level 2: Passed 12th or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks are not required in case of SC / ST / Ex-servicemen / Persons With Disabilities (PwBD) candidates (40% & above) for the candidates of any category possessing higher qualifications i.e. Graduate, Post Graduate from a recognised University.

For Level 1: 10th passed OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. OR 10th passed plus ITI OR 10th passed plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (For Civil Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical / Signal & Telecom Departments)

Age limit:
The age limit set for Level 2 (Gr. C) is 18 years to 30 years and for Level 1(Erstwhile Gr. D) is 18 years to 33 years. 

How to apply:
Interested candidates can apply for Western Railway Recruitment 2020 through the online mode on or before February 6, 2020. Candidates are suggested to apply online in a given format.
