7th Pay Commission pay scale:
1. For the post of Senior Surgeon the pay scale offered is Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 11). The age limit set for the candidate is not exceeding 45 years.

2. For the post of Assistant Professor in Konkani in Government College, the pay scale offered is Rs 15,600-39, 100+6,000/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10). The age limit set for the candidate is not exceeding 45 years.

3. For the post of Planning Officer the pay scale offered is Rs 9,300-34,800+4,600/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 7). The age limit set for the candidate is not exceeding 45 years.

4. For the post of Assistant Professor in Architecture, the pay scale offered is Rs 15,600-39,100+6,000/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10). The age limit set for the candidate is not exceeding 45 years.

5. For the post of Associate Professors in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutics, the pay scale offered is Rs 37,400-67,000+9,000/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 13). The age limit set for the candidate is not exceeding 45 years.

6. For the post of associate professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, the pay scale offered is Rs 37,400-67,000+9,000/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 13). The age limit set for the candidate is not exceeding 45 years.

7. For the post of associate professor in Civil Engineering and Information Technology, the pay scale offered is 15,600-39,100+6,000/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10). The age limit set for the candidate is not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Senior Surgeon- A  recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part  II  of  Third  Schedule  (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian  Medical  Council  Act,  1956  (102  of  1956).    Holders of educational qualifications included in  PartII  of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section  (3)  of  section13 of the said  Indian  Medical  Council  Act,  1956.    (ii)  Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned.  (iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma.

Assistant Professor in Konkani in Government College- Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign  University.    (ii)  National  Eligibility  Test  (NET)/State  Level  Eligibility  Test  (SET)  shall remain  the  compulsory  requirement  for  appointment  as  Assistant  Professor:  Provided,  however,  that  candidates  who  are  or  have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for  award  of  Ph.  D.  Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject.

3. Planning Officer- Master’s Degree in Economics at a recognized University.  (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Post-graduate degree in Business Management (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

4. Assistant Professor in Architecture- Bachelors and Masters Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent, either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

5. associate professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutics: Bachelors and Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree and Ph.  D.  or equivalent in appropriate discipline.  (ii) Minimum of 5 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry of which 2 years post PhD. D. experience is desirable.  (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable:(i) Knowledge of Marathi. (ii) Post Ph. D. publications and guiding Ph. D. students is highly desirable

6. associate professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering- PhD or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Person guiding PhD students and having Post Ph.D.Publications is highly desirable). (ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech.  or  M.E./M.Tech.  (iii)  Minimum  5 years experience in  Teaching/Research/Industry out of which 2  years  Post  Ph.D.experience is desirable. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
