It is really difficult to survive in Delhi on a budget, specially when it comes to the big daily expenses like fuel. While most citizens in the country got an extra almost Rs 2.5 relief on petrol, diesel prices as various states cut VAT, but that was not applicable for Delhiite's as chief minister Arvind Kejriwal refused to do so, because of which he had to face much criticism from all directions.
Today in Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs 82.26 same as yesterday and diesel at Rs 74.35 high by 0.24 Paisa which is Rs 74.11

So, in case you are a heavy user of petrol and diesel, you can save this amount on each litre that you purchase! After Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced the rate cut (reduction in excise duty) of Rs 2.50 per litre on petrol and diesel prices on October 4, several other states also followed the suit, but the CM of the nation's capital,
Arvind Kejriwal tweeted immediately after the announcement by Arun Jaitley that, "The Modi government increased excise duty (on fuel) by Rs 10 per litre but reduced by just Rs 2.50 per litre. This is cheating. The Central government must reduce at least Rs 10 per litre."
