Bharat box office collection till now: Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer looks set to cross Rs 200-crore milestone!

Bharat box office collection: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer became the highest box office opener of 2019 by earning Rs 42.2 crore on the first day of its release. Atul Agnihotri produced movie is expected to cross Rs 200-crore mark in the domestic collection while its worldwide earning is said to be Rs 255.58 crore, according to a tweet by the film producer. In the first four days of its Eid release on June 5, Ali Abbas Zafar directorial managed to earn exceptionally well at the ticket counter helping the Salman Khan film shatter many box office records. 

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on June 12, "#Bharat is steady on Day 7... Should cross ₹ 175 cr today [Day 8]... Wed 42.30 cr, Thu 31 cr, Fri 22.20 cr, Sat 26.70 cr, Sun 27.90 cr, Mon 9.20 cr, Tue 8.30 cr. Total: ₹ 167.60 cr. India biz."

Besides, becoming the highest box office opener of the year, Bharat also crossed Rs 100-crore mark in its net opening weekend collections. Salman Khan has set a new record with his latest film's success, becoming the biggest Bollywood star with maximum films in the Rs 100-crore club. 

If we look at Salman Khan's films, three have crossed Rs 300 crore, and two movies earned over Rs 200 crore. Salman has reportedly stated that Bharat is his career's biggest opener and he also organised a special screening of Bharat for the families of those who "experienced the events of 1947 and the Partition". On June 12, he specially mentioned about it and tweeted, "Special screening of #Bharat for the real families who experienced the events of 1947 and the partition. Honoured to meet all of them! Salute to the real #Bharat families."

Released across 4,700 screens in India and over 1,300 screens overseas, Bharat was has received a mixed response from critics. Taran Adarsh gave it '4 stars' rating and called Salman Khan the lifeline of the movie. The film, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is a mix of action, humour, drama and emotions. The star cast of the film includes Kumud Raina, Tabu, Sunil Grover and Disha Patani besides Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
