BSE, telecom shares open flat; Aurobindo Pharma drops
Shares of telecom companies like Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Idea Cellular remained unresponsive after spectrum auction ended on Thursday.
BSE Sensex opened flat on Friday and was trading at 28,113.68 points at 9.40 am.

Meanwhile, shares of Aurobindo Pharma rose over 2% after over 76 lakh shares traded hands in three block deals on NSE at 9.27 but immediately dropped to -0.77% at 10 am.
Idea Cellular was trading at Rs 80.35 up by 0.56%, while Reliance Communication at Rs 46.55 per share above 0.43%. Bharti Airtel and Tata Teleservices both were trading in the range of 0.14-0.17% at Rs 323.30 per share and Rs 5.83 per share, respectively.
Reliance Industries paid Rs 13,672 crore in spectrum auction for Reliance Jio's spectrum. The company’s stock was trading at Rs 1112.40 per share, sequential rise of 0.12% from their previous closing.
Meanwhile top gainers on BSE were – ONGC at Rs 272.50 (1.41%), Tata Motors at Rs 557.55 (1.14%), Lupin at Rs 1500.55 (1.07%), Tata Steel at Rs 393 (0.95%) and Axis Bank at Rs 535.50 (0.86%).
While top losers were – HDFC at Rs 1412 (0.83%), Bajaj Auto at Rs 2810 (0.56%), TCS at Rs 2374 (0.43%) and Asian Paint at Rs 1204 (0.34%).
