BSPCB Bihar Recruitment 2019: Candidates aspiring to have a government jobs can opt for this opportunity provided by the Bihar State Pollution Control Board (BSPCB) as one more day is left to submit their applications for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff, Junior Lab Assistant, Field Attendant / Lab Attendant and DEO/Para Taxonomist. August 14 is the last day for applying to as many as 28 vacant positions at the BSPCB's official website-bspcb.bih.nic.in.
According to the official notification, there are 6 posts of Junior Lab Assistant position, and selected candidates would get a pay of Rs 25000/- approx; there are two posts of MTS, and the selected candidate may get Rs 25000/- approx; there are 10 posts of Field Attendant/Lab Attendant. Selected candidates would get Rs 21300/, while there are 10 positions for DEO/Para Taxonomist and selected candidates will get a pay of Rs 11000 per month.
Eligibility Criteria for BSPCB Bihar Recruitment 2019
1. Junior Lab Assistant: Candidates applying for these posts must have graduated in BSc
2. MTS: Candidates should hold BSc degree from any institute/university recognised by the government
3. Field Attendant/Lab Attendant: Candidates must have passed class 12th in Science
4. DEO/Para Taxonomist: Candidates for these posts must be graduate along with knowledge of Computer
Interested candidates must submit their online application through BSPCB official website before August 14.
Notably, Bihar State Pollution Control Board was constituted in the year 1974 under the provisions of the Water (prevention and Control of pollution) Act, 1974. Since its inception, Bihar State Pollution Control Board, like other state boards, has been performing its functions as enumerated under section 17 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.

Key functions of the board include: Planing programme for prevention and control of pollution in the state; Advising the state government from time to time in the matters of pollution; collection and dissemination of informations with regard to pollution control; conduction and participation in Research and Development (R&D) relating to water pollution; collaboration with Central board in organising training and mass awareness programme of grant of consent; and inspection of treatment plant and their review for the purpose.
