Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has raided the homes of former finance minister P. Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram.
CBI sources told Zee Business that the raids were against Karti Chidambaram at locations in Mumbai, New Delhi, Gurugram and Chennai, including his residences.
The raids are in connections with Karti's alleged misconduct in FIPB approvals.
A CBI spokesman in New Delhi could not confirm the raids.
P Chidambaram saidm "Govt by using CBI and other agencies is targeting my son and his friends,Govt wants to silence my voice," adding, "Every case processed according to law and approval granted or refused accordance with FIPB recommendations consisting of 5 GOI Secretaries." (With Reuters)
