Gully Boy Box Office Collection Day 3 total: Will Smith praises Ranveer Singh starrer, film collects Rs 50 crore!
Gully Boy box office collection: Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer Gully Boy has gained momentum at the box office, estimated to have earned over Rs 50 crore in India collections in just three days. The Zoya Akhtar-directed film has received rave reviews and applause from the audience. On the opening day, it collected Rs 19.40 crore while on Friday, the movie earned Rs 13 crore, according to film analyst Taran Adarsh estimate.
According to entertainment industry tracker and film analyst Ramesh Bala, the film earned Rs 19 cr on Saturday and it may see further growth. The movie has not only been successful in pulling the audience to the theatres but also big film industry names from India and abroad have praised Ranveer for his performance and liveliness in the film.
On a tweeter post, American actor and rapper Will Smith praised Ranveer Singh for his rap shots in the film. Gully Boy was received well at the Berlin International Film Festival. Actor Anil Kapoor also complemented the young actor. This is also his second-highest opening day grossing film after Simmba.

Trade analyst Sumit Kadel tweeted, "#GullyBoy Saturday- ₹ 18.50 cr nett. Total- ₹ 49.50 cr nett." "#GullyBoy dips in metros [marginal] and mass circuits/Tier-2 cities [maximum] on Day 2... Day 3 [Sat] and Day 4 [Sun] should witness substantial growth at metros [target audience]... Strong *extended* weekend on cards... Thu 19.40 cr, Fri 13.10 cr. Total: ₹ 32.50 cr. India biz.," Taran Adarsh tweeted yesterday.
In the film, Ranvir is an aspiring rapper called Murad. He beats all the odds to make an identity for himself. Alia plays a medical student and girlfriend of Ranveer. The film focuses on the hip hop culture of Mumbai.
