Indian Railways passengers alert! Important announcement on train routes, cancellation and short-termination

Indian Railways passengers alert! The public transporter has made two important announcements today - it has changed the destination station of one train while three other trains have been cancelled or short-terminated. The public transporter today said that the run of the three trains has been affected due to the Yard Remodeling Work at Kanpur Central station. Following trains have been affected due to this:

Cancellation of Train
The 13007/13008 Howrah-Sriganganar-Howrah Udyan Abha Toofan Express train, journey commencing with immediate effect up to 17.03.2019 will remain cancelled.

Short Termination / Short Origination of Train
The 24227/24228 Varanasi-Kanpur Central-Varanasi Varuna Express train, journey commencing from 28.02.2019 to  17.03.2019 will be short terminated at /short originate from Lucknow and will remain partially cancelled between Lucknow- Kanpur Central-Lucknow.

Regulation of Train
The 12815 Puri-Anand Vihar Terminal Nandan Kanan Express train journey commencing on 02.03.2019 will be regulated for 40 minutes en route between Allahabad  -Kanpur Central.

In another development, to cater to a larger number of passengers and fulfilling a long-pending demand, the railways has decided to extend the run of 54011/54012 Tilak Bridge-Sadulpur-Tilak Bridge passenger train to/from  Sri Ganga Nagar with immediate effect from Tilak Bridge and Sadulpur. The 54011/54012 has also been renumbered as 54767/54768 Sri Ganganagar -Tilak Bridge -Sri Ganganagar passenger.

"The  54768  Tilak Bridge - Sri Ganganagar passenger train will depart from Tilak Bridge at 05.45 pm to arrive at Sadulpur at 00.25 am the next day. It will depart from Sadulpur at 00.55 am to arrive at Sriganganagar at 06.25 am the same day. In the return direction, the 54767 Sri Ganganagar - Tilak Bridge passenger train will depart from Sri Ganganagar at 08.30 pm to arrive at Sadulpur 02.10 am the next day. It will depart from Sadulpur at 02.40 am to arrive at Tilak Bridge at 09.10 am the same day," said the railways.

On the extended portion, it will stop at Sidmukh, Tehsil Bhadra, Nohar, Ellenabad, Tibi, Hanumangarh town, Hanumangarh Jn. & Sadulshahr stations en route in both the directions.

The transporter said that it has also renumbered the train 54001/54002 Tilak Bridge-Rohtak-Tilak Bridge Passenger Train as 54769/54770 Rohtak-Tialk Bridge-Rohtak passenger.
