Indian Railways PNR status update: Passengers generally check their PNR status through IRCTC.Co.In website, but it is sometimes tough to access it as a huge number of users are on it at the same time, putting servers under pressure. However, those who have gone through this experience need not worry as from now onward they can also check their PNR status on Paytm website or app, said a report.
 
Notably, Indian Railways provides the passenger name record (PNR) to every traveller, which is a 10-digit number mentioned on the ticket giving travel information to the ticket holders. The PNR also includes information like ticket booking status, departure and arrival time of trains etc, besides having coach and seat number details along with journey fare paid by the passenger.
 
As we know that with the help of PNR number, travellers can check if their seats are confirmed or are still in waiting list. They can also ascertain whether their train is on time or not. 
 
Here's what passengers should do to check their PNR status through Paytm website:
 
1. Passengers should first visit Paytm website, https://paytm.com/train-tickets
2. They should click on 'Trains'
4. Now enter the PNR number in the space provided and click on 'Check PNR Status'.
