Jobs 2018: Applications invited in Rajasthan Police Recruitment drive for jail prahari; check jailprahariraj2018.in

Jobs 2018: In this Rajasthan Police Recruitment drive, applications have been invited from eligible candidates for as many as 670 posts of prahari in the jail department of the Rajasthan government. The recruitment will be done by group and category wise. The interested candidates can apply online on the official website- www.jailprahariraj2018.in., or through e-kiosks, which aspirants can find on www.emitra.gov.in.
 
According to the notification, the last to apply is August 16, 2018. The written test will tentatively take place in the month of September or October. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and physical assessment test. The written examination will comprise 400 marks, while physical test will be of 100 marks.
 
The number of posts available for General category is 392, for OBC (122), for MBC (1), SC (114), ST (104). 
 
The age of an applicant must be between 18 and 26 as on January 1, 2019.
 
The fee for application form has been fixed Rs 500 for all, while the candidates belonging to SC/ST category of Rajasthan have to pay Rs 400.
 
Admit cards will be uploaded on the official website 14 days before the examination date, stated the notification.

Eligibility: For the post of jail prahari, an applicant must have passed class 10 examination or any equivalent from a recognized board. They must have the knowledge of Rajasthani culture along with working knowledge of Hindi which is mandatory.
