KGF: Chapter 2 - This Bollywood actor to boost box office collections of Yash starrer?

KGF: Chapter 2 box office collection: The Yash starrer Kolar Gold Fields or KGF just got a massive box office boost ahead of its sequel. The first part of the film, released last year across India, was a huge hit and the second chapter is set to be released soon. The sequel will see Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt play the character of Adheera, the prime antagonist in the film, giving KGF a major boost in the North Indian market. The movie will also mark Sanjay's entry into South Indian cinema. The first look of the actor from the upcoming film was also revealed on Twitter on Monday, which also marks his 60th birthday. 

Only a few days back, Farhan Akhtar had shared a teaser poster of Adheera's character. The image did not show the face of the actor portraying the role. However, Sanjay Dutt was finally revealed as Adheera on July 29, the birthday of the actor. The makers of the film have reportedly been in talks with the actor for a while and Yash had also admitted the same. 

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the character poster from the upcoming film and wrote, "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT... Sanjay Dutt as #Adheera in #KGFChapter2... #SanjayDuttAsAdheera."

The poster was also shared by Sanjay Dutt on his own Twitter handle. The actor said that he is excited to be a part of the film. "Thank you Truly happy and excited to be a part of #KGF as #Adheera @TheNameIsYash #KGFChapter2 (sic)," Dutt wrote. It has been reported that the producers have also approached Raveena Tandon for a special role in the film. 

Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film will also feature Srinidhi Shetty in a lead role. The first part of the film had released last year alongside Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited Zero at the box office. The Yash starrer had wreaked havoc at the box office and went on to earn around Rs 250 crore globally, becoming the biggest blockbuster to come out of Kannada cinema! 

Since then, the fans have been waiting for the second chapter of the film. Now, it will be interesting to see if KGF Chater 2 can replicate the same performance at the box office or not.
