The closing date for the registration for the Non Technical Popular Categories positions,  is inching near. Railway Recruitment Board will disable the link on March 31, at 11:59. So without further delaying, interested candidates who have not applied yet should apply soon. One can apply  by visiting the link https://chandigarh.rrbonlinereg.co.in/apply.html

However, those candidates awaiting their final results of prescribed educational qualification should not apply. 

The Railway Recruitment Board recruits for the vacancies available in the Junior Clerk cum , Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk for candidates with minimum qualification of 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent. The number of vacancies available for the mentioned posts are 10,628.

For candidates with minimum qualification of a university degree or its equivalent can apply for vacancies of Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard ,Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk , Senior Clerk cum Typist ,Junior Account Assistant cum Typist , Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master. Here, the available seats are 24,649.

The seats are filled at various zonal regions of the Indian Railways.

Reservations for SC, ST, OBC (Non Creamy Layer), EWS, PwBD, ExSM and Relaxations in age are all applicable as per details.

Candidates are advised to submit the registration details through online mode only. Moreover, the form is required to be filled on the official RRB site only. Any other method of filling of form will not be accepted. 

The last date for payment of fees through online modes such as Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/UPI), through SBI Challan and through Post Office Challan, is April 5. Meanwhile, April 12 is the final submission date for applications.

The tentative dates for 1st stage computer based tests is scheduled to fall between June- September 2019.
