OPSC recruitment 2018: On opsconline.gov.in, apply for 500 vacant Assistant Section Officer posts

OPSC recruitment 2018: The recruitment for the post of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) has been advertised by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC). There are a total of 500 vacant ASO posts according to the notification. The recruitment would be in Group B of Odisha Secretariat Service under Home Department. Interested candidates can apply for the job at the official website of OPSC: opsconline.gov.in. The registration for the recruitment would commence on October 10.

Along with the application fees, the applicants need to deposit Rs. 300. However, the SC, ST, and PwD candidates do not need to pay any fees. November 13, 2018 is the last date for depositing the payment.

OPSC recruitment 2018: Eligibility criteria
The candidates applying for the job must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university along with adequate knowledge in computer application. Besides, the candidates must also have proficiency in Odia language.

The written examination is likely to be held on December 23, 2018 and would be conducted at 33 zones in the State.

Candidates applying for the posts must be between the age group of 21-32 years.
