Railway recruitment 2018: RRB Group C, D recruitment 2018: mock test link for the examination has been activated by Railway Recruitment Board. Candidates who wish to practice the mock test paper can log into the official website, rrbcdg.gov.in with their user id and password.
Railway recruitment 2018: RRB Group C, D recruitment 2018: mock test link for the examination has been activated by Railway Recruitment Board. Candidates who wish to practice the mock test paper can log into the official website, rrbcdg.gov.in with their user id and password. From August 9, the first stage of Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted.
For nearly 1 lakh jobs, the notification for which has been released in March, around 1.5 crore candidates have applied. To check the official notification, candidates have to visit the official website- indianrailways.gov.in. The examination, which was expected to be conducted in March and April, now RRB expects it to be held in the month of August.
RRB Group C, D recruitment 2018: Syllabus and paper pattern
Mathematics: Number system, BODMAS, decimals, fractions, LCM, HCF, ratio and proportion, percentages, mensuration, time and work; time and distance, simple and compound interest, profit and loss, algebra, geometry and trigonometry, elementary statistics, square root, age calculations, calendar and clock, Pipes and cistern etc.
General Intelligence and Reasoning
Analogies, alphabetical and number series, coding, and decoding, mathematical operations, relationships, syllogism, jumbling, Venn diagram, data interpretation and sufficiency, conclusions and decision making, similarities and differences, analytical reasoning, classification, directions, statement – arguments and assumptions etc.
General Science
The examination would be focused on physics, chemistry and life sciences of class 10.
General Awareness
Current affairs in science and technology, sports, culture, personalities, economics, politics and other subjects of importance.

Qualifying marks
A minimum score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries is required in order to qualify and applies to all candidates and no relaxation is permissible. The ALP merit list will only be made with the candidates qualifying in the aptitude test with 70 per cent weightage for the marks obtained in the part A of second stage CBT and 30 per cent weightage for the marks obtained in computer-based AT.
Question papers
In order to ensure equal opportunities to candidates across India, question papers will be provided to the candidates in 15 different languages, that includes Hindi, English, Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Assamese, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Tamil and Telugu.
Exam pattern
60 minutes will be the duration time of the examination with a total of 75 multiple-choice questions and one-third marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
