Railway Recruitment 2019: Over 2393 vacancies for Trackman, Helper, Pointsman ‘B’ (SCP)

Railway Recruitment 2019: The Southern Railway has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Trackman, Helper (Track Machine), Helper (Tele), Helper (Signal), Pointsman ‘B’ (SCP), Helper (C&W), Helper/Diesel Mechanical, Helper/Diesel Electrical and several other posts. Interested and eligible candidates are suggested to apply for the positions in a prescribed format on or before September 12, 2019. 

The Southern Railway has notified a total of 2393 vacancies for Trackman, Helper (Track Machine), Helper (Tele), Helper (Signal), Pointsman ‘B’ (SCP), Helper (C&W), Helper/Diesel Mechanical, Helper/Diesel Electrical, Helper/TRD 

Engagement of Ex-Servicemen in Level 1 Posts of Safety Categories is on a full-time contract basis. The candidates can submit the online applications by login to www.rrcmas.in. It is suggested to apply for the positions in a prescribed format on an online basis only, before 17.00 hrs of 12.09.2019.

Payscale:
Selected candidates will be paid in Matrix Level – 1 of VII CPC. Approx Consolidated Pay for “Z” Class candidates will be Rs 22,968, for "Y" class will be Rs 24,660 and for "X" class candidates it will be Rs 27,072. Also, the remuneration will be on monthly basis comprising of Basic Pay, DA, TA, HRA & Dress allowance of Rs 5000/- per annum wherever applicable. 

Age Limit:
The Upper age limit to apply for the positions is 50 years (As on 13-08-2019).

Eligibility Criteria:
An ex-serviceman who has retired after putting in 15 years of service and has passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent will be considered eligible for engaging on a contract basis.

Selection procedure:
The panel will be formed on the basis of Ex-Servicemen’s length of Military service for contract basis. Shortlisted Ex-Servicemen will be called for verification of Original Documents. At the time of document verification, candidates are suggested to bring all relevant original certificates, at the date, time & venue specified by Railway Recruitment Cell.

After Document Verification, candidates will be subjected for Medical examination. 

The list of Ex-servicemen will be based on the length of Military Service after successful Document Verification to the extent of notified posts.
