The 3D effects of the movie, along with craze to watch the Robot Chitti played by Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's villain was breath taking.
It has been revealed that the movie released in over 10,000 screens worldwide. Among the total, about 4,000 screens are reportedly already reserved for Hindi version. Other supporting actors of this movie are Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain. In a major good news to fans, the ticket price of 2.0, which is quite expensive, can be reduced as digital payment wallet Paytm is offering up to 50% cashback to its customers.
Paytm Entertainment on its official Twitter account has been promoting the movie at full speed. Interestingly, the cashback offer is in two types. At first Paytm is giving 50% cashback which is up to Rs 150. A customer booking a 2.0 ticket via Paytm website, will have to add a promo code ROBO150 to avail the offer.
Slightly lower compared to above mentioned offer, Paytm is giving flat Rs 75 cash back and additional Rs 50 cashback for those who are booking ticket for the first time with Paytm. A customer will have to use a promo code CHITTI to avail the offer. As per reports, it is seen that a 2.0 ticket is ranging from Rs 118 to as much as Rs 1,550 depending upon the aisle you select in a theatre.
Most expensive tickets of 2,0 which are Rs 1,550, are being sold in Mumbai for 9 pm show at INOX in Atria Mall, Worli. As for in Delhi, the most expensive tickets for 2.0 are for Rs 1,450 on opening day at 11.15 pm show at INOX, Nehru Place.
Further, Kolkata third place for giving most expensive 2.0 ticket of Rs 1,030. Other cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Pune are offering tickets slightly south of Rs 1,000.
The first of its kind Indian film, 2.0 has been reportedly made with a massive budget of over Rs 500 crore. According to south Indian film's trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the film's advance ticket booking has been valued at Rs 120 crore. On the other hand, it was estimated that the film may have earned over Rs 350 crore by selling its various rights like Satellite Rights and Digital Rights.
