SSC JE 2019 recruitment: Application process begins on Feb 1 - check how to apply

SSC JE 2019 recruitment: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a recruitment notification for the posts of Junior Engineers in civil, electrical, mechanical and quantity surveying & contract disciplines. The online application process for these posts will start from February 1, 2019. The applicants may apply in the prescribed format before the deadline. The last date for submission of the online application form is February 25, 2019 till 05:00 PM. The applicants should visit the SSC official website, ssc.nic.in, for details about the recruitment process. They must go through the official notification before applying for these posts to make sure that they have all the requisite educational qualifications and experience stated in the notification.

Eligibility criteria:
The candidates should hold a Diploma or degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical engineering. For details about the educational qualifications and experience, the candidates should visit the official website ssc.nic.in.

Age limit:
For the posts of Junior Engineer (Central Water Commission/CPWD), the candidates should not be more tham 32 years of age.

For the posts of Junior Engineer Civil and Junior Engineer Quality Surveying and Contract (MES), the candidates should not be over 27 years of age.

For the posts of Junior Engineer (MES/ Farrakka Barrage/ Director General Border Roads Organisation/ Central Water Power Research Station/ Dte of Quality Assurance(Naval)/ National Technical Research Organisation), the age limit is 30 years.

Selection process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Objective Type Test of 100 marks and Written Examination of 300 marks.

The candidates may apply online in the prescribed format through the official website of SSC ssc.nic.in before the deadline of application submission ends.

Application Fees:
General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs 100, while Women SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen will not have to pay any fee.

The candidates will be able to pay application fee online or offline. They can also pay it through SBI Challan.
