After three consecutive days of losses, the Indian market benchmark settled in the green on Thursday, January 23, 2020, supported by select heavyweights such as Infosys, Larsen & Toubro and ICICI Bank. Investors also turned cautious ahead of the Union Budget on 1 February 2020. But certain stocks made news after the market was closed and can make an impact on the indices when it reopens on Friday, January 24, 2020. Here is a list of five such stocks:
Bajaj Auto: Bajaj Auto Limited and British motorcycle brand Triumph Motorcycles formally announced the two motorcycle brands' alliance on Thursday. Under the agreement, Bajaj Auto will develop 300-500 cc Triumph motorcycles.

ITI Limited: ITI's follow-on public offer (FPO) will open today at Rs72-77 apiece. The company is looking to raise Rs1,600 crore through the offer. The telecom equipment maker's issue will close on January 28, 2020.
Telecom stocks in focus: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on Thursday communicated to the controller of communications accounts (CCA) in various circles across the country not to take any “coercive action” against telecom operators - Vodafone-Idea and Bharti Airtel - if they fail to comply with the Supreme Court order on repayment of AGR dues, till further orders. Besides, Reliance Jio Infocomm became has met the Supreme Court’s adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues deadline and has paid Rs 195 crore to DoT.
Olectra Greentech Limited: The company has received letters of award for the deployment of 555 electric buses from eight cities/state transport authorities under the FAME-II scheme of Government of India through Evey Trans Private Limited. Olectra and EVEY are under common control of MEIL Holdings Limited. These orders are on Gross Cost Contract/OPEX model basis for 10-12 years.
DLF Limited: The real estate major DLF on Thursday announced its plan to invest Rs5,000 crore in an IT park project, DLF Downtown, in Chennai's Taramani locality. It is a 6.8 million square feet commercial project. The move is aimed at expanding its portfolio of rent-yielding properties.
