As per the record number of 16.34 lakh candidates have registered for appearing in the exams. Due to internet ban in some part of the state the candidates candidates were not able to download the admit card.
UPTET 2019 postponed: Uttar Pradesh-teachers' eligibility test (UP-TET), 2019, which was scheduled to be held on December 22 has been postponed by the board. The exam is postponed for an indefinite period.

As per the officials no new date of exam has been fixed yet.

Primary Level UPTET Exam is for those who want to teach from Class I to Class V while the Higher Primary Level UPTET Exam is for those who want to teach from Class VI to Class VIII.
