Walkway connecting NMRC's Aqua Line and DMRC's Blue Line launched
Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) today inaugurated a 300-meter-long walkway between Sector-51 of NMRC's Aqua Line and Sector-52 of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)'s Blue Line.
Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) today inaugurated a 300-meter-long walkway between Sector-51 of NMRC's Aqua Line and Sector-52 of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)'s Blue Line. The walkway was built keeping in mind the passengers' comfort. NMRC had also provided free solar powered E–rickshaw services in this stretch to facilitate connectivity between the two metro rail networks, DMRC announced in a tweeter post.
This will facilitate as a link between the two metros to provide seamless services to the passengers to and fro passengers from Delhi to Greater Noida. The walkway was inaugurated today by Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary at Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). Beautiful landscaping has been done along the walkway to provide aesthetic appeal. It has space for Café/Vendor Zone as part of future planning where small stalls/cafes will be opened. NMRC will provide parking space close to the Walkway in near future, Mishra said.

"The Walkway has been built keeping Ease of Living in mind. It is covered from the top to save passengers from sunlight and rain & other elements. There is a separate pathway for pedestrians and a dedicated carriageway for solar powered E-Rickshaws," tweeted Mishra.
NOIDA Authority will help NMRC to make the walkway more commuter friendly by providing free public convenience services in coming days. Sector 51 Metro station has a dedicated parking facility for approximate 200 cars, Mishra said in a Twitter post.
