A beautiful se-facing property in Mumbai is up for sale. While it will cost you a packet, it is linked to an infamous stock broker who was responsible for a stock market crash like none other India had known till then. It has been revealed that Harshad Mehta, the ill-famed stockholder's Mumbai property has been put on sale. The property is located in Vandana Cooperative Housing Society (CHS), Janki Kurtir, Juhu and measures about 1,150 sqft - it is being auctioned via the tenders route.
It is said that the flat should fetch up to Rs six crore as it is sea-facing. while no specific rate has been said by any custodian. The auction will be held on January 9, at the custodian’s office in Mumbai.

The interested prospective buyers can visit the location as mentioned above between December 10 to 12 between 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
A representative of the custodian will be present at the premises on the dates of inspection.

Harshad Mehta was an Indian stockbroker known for his wealth and for having been charged with numerous financial crimes that took place in the Securities Scam of 1992. He passed away at the age 47 in the year 2001.
