Women's Day gift! Now, try Tanishq jewellery virtually at these Indian airports

Want to try jewellery before purchasing at the airport? Now augmented reality can help you in it and even allows you to share it on your Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp. StyleDotMe, a New Delhi based startup, has announced that Tanishq, India’s most trusted jewellery brand, has licensed mirrAR, StyleDotMe’s augmented reality (AR) platform for creating a unique experience center for consumers, at the New Delhi and Bengaluru Airports.

Creating a first of its kind retail experience, Jewelry brand Tanishq and fashion-tech startup StyleDotMe, launched a virtual jewelry try-on experience zone at Delhi & Bangalore Airports. 

"Tanishq hosts over 200+ designs, with this ‘Virtual Try and Buy’ experience, through the augmented reality-based platform, mirrAR. After a successful pilot of mirrAR at Bridal Asia, the brand now hosts this augmented reality product at Delhi and Bengaluru airports opening this innovation to more than 3L people daily. The Experience zone in Delhi is at Departure of T3 Domestic airport, after the security check. At Bengaluru it is at Domestic Airport, Departure," said the Indian Angel Network in a press release.

"At the airports, the mirrAR experience zones gives shoppers a luxury feel of a dressing room where they can sit and try hundreds of jewellery from Tanishq, take pictures and immediately share on social media for an engaging experience. Users can see themselves in different jewelry products on a larger screen for an intuitive experience without going through the multiple physical trials and trying out a larger variety," it said.
