You can now pre book Tata Nexon AMT at just Rs 10,000; here's how

One of the largest passenger vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors has opened pre booking for the Nexon AMT which was launched in this year’s Auto Expo. Tata Nexon is loaded with next-gen features and would be also Tata Motor’s first subcompact SUV in India. With the Nexon, Tata Motors plans to take on rivals like Ford, Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra & Mahindra who have similar models in the segment.

In a press release, Tata Motors mentioned that, catering to the growing popularity of the AMT vehicles in India, Tata Motors is all set introduce another product intervention – NEXON with HyprDrive Self-Shift Gears (S-SG). Riding strong on a sporty drive performance, the NEXON HyprDrive Self-SG is the first AMT in India to have Multi-Drive modes (3 modes – ECO, CITY, SPORT) in automatic transmission. 

The bookings for the car commences today, across all its authorized dealerships, in India, at an amount of Rs 11,000 only.
One can book the new car on Tata Motors website, by selecting options like state, city, dealer, fuel and color.

With the introduction of NEXON Hyprdrive S-SG, Tata Motors has branded all its 2 pedal transmission cars as Hyprdrive while all the AMT variants from the Company will be now termed as Self-Shift Gears (S-SG). Nexon Hyprdrive with S-SG will be available in both Petrol and Diesel option.

Here’s a list of features the new Tata Nexon AMT comes with. 

• First AMT in India with Multi-Drive modes (3 drive modes – ECO, CITY, SPORT), in Automatic mode
• Exciting new Etna Orange body colour with a Sonic Silver dual-tone roof
• For convenience during slow moving traffic by helping the car move ahead without pressing the accelerator
• Prevents the car from rolling back on uphill drives during bumper-to-bumper traffic
• With features such as anti-stall, kick-down and fast-off
• Powered with the powerful & torquey 1.2L turbocharged Revotron and the 1.5L turbocharged Revotorq.
• Mode to shift gears manually while enjoying a clutch free drive experience

It is being expected that, Tata Motors will be looking to launch it’s new Tata Nexon AMT anywhere in May 2018. As per NDTV Car&Bike report, the Nexon AMT to carry a pricing somewhere between ₹ 7 lakh to ₹ 10 lakh for the petrol and diesel options, considering the fact that Tata will offer the AMT option from mid-trim upwards.
