Coronavirus Lockdown: There is no stopping some people, no matter how big the problem is... not even a lockdown because of coronavirus disease. Believe it or not, a couple has performed a marriage online! A Sahibabad-based groom and a Patna-based bride got married on the internet. The decision was take by the families of bride and the groom in light of the growing coronavirus menace.
The groom lives in the Sahibabad area in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district while the bride belongs to the Raja Bazaar area in Patna. Both the bride and the groom performed the marriage rituals by sitting at home. This unusual marriage saw no wedding procession or banquet.
Mohammad Alauddin's daughter Sadia Nasreen was to get married to Samuddul Hasan's son Daanish Raja on 24 March. All the preparations for the marriage were already done for the big day. A community hall was even booked in Patna's Haroon Nagar. The relatives were even sent the invitations.
But all the plans were dropped because of the coronavirus pandemic. However, there was no stopping the actual marriage This is when both families decided to perform the marriage rituals online through a video call.

The couple finally got married by accepting each other as husband and wife in front of the two families.
