7th Pay Commission bonus: Centre has announced 40 days bonus for eligible defence employees of the Army Ordinance Corp (AOC). These are civilians. This bonus is for the year 2018-19 in which thousands of Group B, Group C and Group D non-gazetted employees are falling. The bonus has been announced under the productivity linked bonus (PLB). This AOC is existing in all states of India. As per the announcement, the AOC employees will get more than Rs 9,000 bonus.
As per the existing government norms, PLB is given to those government employees who work at factory establishment or workshop. At AOC, PLB has been in practice since 1983. This bonus is directly linked with the performance of the employee. The Zee Business has a copy of the government order in this regard. According to the PLB formula Group B, Group C and Group D calculation ceiling is Rs 7000 and the formula is 7,000X40/30.4, which is equal to Rs 9,210.5, which can't be changed.
