7th Pay Commission: These 15,000 government employees to get pay hike, whopping 36-month arrears
7th Pay Commission latest news:The doctors have been demanding implementation of the 7th pay commission benefits and removal of disparities in the payment process.
7th pay commission: On the one hand lakhs of government employees of Uttar Pradesh are protesting against the implementation of NPS and on the other, there are even more central government employees plus state government staff who are still awaiting implementation of 7th pay commission benefits. Even as these employees wait, some excellent news has come for doctors of government hospitals in Delhi who had threatened to go on strike on December 19, 2018.
The doctors have been demanding implementation of the 7th pay commission benefits and removal of disparities in the payment process. However, much to the relief of patients, who would have suffered much pain, these doctors have called off the strike, but only after receiving positive assurances from the authorities over their demands.
"It was a great day for resident doctors of Delhi Government Hospitals today! After multiple meetings with the concerned authorities with no fruitful result, to calling for a Strike on December 19, we have achieved the desired result. 7th pay commission has been implemented in Delhi Government Hospitals and the salaries of Resident Doctors will be upgraded accordingly," said Dr Sumedh Sandanshiv, President, Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA).
Dr Sandanshiv told ZeeBiz.Com that they are calling off the strike 'conditionally' on the assurance for the implementation of 7th pay commission within 15 days. Sandanshiv revealed that BHU, AMU, JAMIA HAMDARD and UCMS are medical college under the UGC and they all get salary according to the 7th pay commission.
As per the latest approvals, all the resident doctors of Lok Nayak Hospital (MD/MS/DNB super speciality/FNB) will get revised pay according to recommendations of the 7th CPC w.e.f 1st January 2016 and the arrears will be given to all the residents withing three months. This means, the doctors will be getting 36 months arrears along with the increased pay.
7th CPC Pay Level:
1. For DNB Broad Speciality Trainees, Diploma students and MD/MS: Pay Level 10 of the 7th pay commission.
2. For DNB Super Speciality, DM, FNB trainees and M.Ch: Pay Level 11 of the 7th pay commission.
