7th Pay Commission latest news today: The Railway Pension Court in the North Eastern Railway (NE Railway)  has delivered orders to revise pension of retired Indian Railways employees. The Pension Court was organised in Gorakhpur, headquarters of the NE Railway. The Pension Court was headed by Anand Prakash, AGM, NE Railway. The court heard 68 cases of pensions and found that 19 of them were not in sync with the 7th pay commission report recommendations.

Speaking after the verdict Anand Prakash, AGM, NE Railway said, "We need to resolve all pensioner's issues in a positive manner. There is a need to have an approach where zero issues related to a pension should exist. After all, all we employees are going to become a pensioner one day."

lauding the Pension Court verdict LB Rai, Chief Personal Officer said, "All pensioners are members of our family. So, we are taking all pension-related issues with an open mind."

After the delivery of the verdict, six cases were cleared through cheque payment on the spot. Seven cases were referred to the bank for payment clearance and payment process for initiated in seven cases. Twenty cases were not related to the Pension Court and hence those were referred to the concerned forum. Six cases have been sent to the Railway Board as well.

Speaking on the verdict NP Pandey, Chief Financial Advisor to the NE Railway said, "All Pension Orders delivered by the Pension Court has been revised and we are looking forward to revising all pension-related issues in an amicable manner."
