Gujarat University’s four incubator to visit Silicon Valley; will pitch startup ideas in Google, Facebook and more
Four incubators from Gujarat University will visit Silicon Valley for three weeks, where these fellows will get an opportunity to pitch their startup ideas to major firms like Google, Facebook, Tesla and Paypal. Each fellow will have his chances for propelling their ideas to investors and in return they will get feedback from the companies mentioned on their startup ideas. Such move comes under Rajeev Motwani Fellowship which gives startups to the current trends in Silicon Valley.
According to DNA India report, all the start-up founders are incubatees of Gujarat University Student Entrepreneurship Council (GUSEC) and will be groomed for about three weeks in Silicon Valley.
“This is a rare opportunity for them. They will visit the head quarters of companies like Google, Facebook, Tesla and Paypal. They will make a pitch to the investors and they will also get a feedback on their start-up ideas,” said Rahul Bhagchandani, CEO of GUSEC said in the report.
These four incubator are Rishabh Agnihotri founder of iecon; Circuitgyan founder Smit Bhanushali; Alteration Innotech founder Nandan Shah and Aditya Bhatt, founder of AMB Industries.
Reportedly, these four incubator are part of 17 promising start-up founders from Indian sub-continent selected for the fellowship, in memory of late Rajeev Motwani, who was mentor to Larry Page and Sergei Brin and their first investors.
