Ola covers 10,000 destinations with outstation service last weekend, says second only to Indian Railways
Ola's outstation service is emerging as the go to option for travellers and the cab aggregator witnessed a massive surge during the last weekend with outstation cabs covering over 10,000 destinations across the country and over 1.1 crore kms of distance.

The surge came as India celebrated an extended weekend with both Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day falling on August 15 i.e. Thursday. The aggregator shared some interesting insights revealing that 60 per cent users from Bengaluru, 74 per cent from Delhi and 66 per cent from Mumbai booked Ola Outstation for their spontaneous holiday needs.
An Ola spokesperson told Zee Business Online that the platform now connects over 10,000 destinations across country which makes it second to only Indian Railways in terms of network and scale.
"We are pleased to see that customers across the country have made Ola's Outstation offering the most popular choice for intercity travel. Ola connects over 10,000 routes in India and is second only to the Indian Railways in terms of network and scale," the spokesperson said.

Ola believes that it has given a reliable option to the customers with its ‘Ride Now’ requests as passengers can now trust the platform even for their last-minute travel plans.
"With ‘Ride Now’ requests as well as Scheduled Rides, customers trust Ola equally for their last-minute plans and planned vacations. The seamless experience of the platform offers users various options in terms of vehicle choice, flexibility and overall ease of use," the Ola spokesperson added.
According to the data provided by Ola, Bengaluru to Rameshwaram clocked the longest trip, with a customer travelling 1,825 kms and Bengaluru to Varkala followed suit with 1,571 kms. The third and fourth longest trip was taken from Delhi to Chandi covering 1,433 kms and Pune to Goa with 1,421 kms, respectively.
