What's different in Samsung Galaxy Fold?
The Samsung Galaxy Fold sports a 7.3-inch Infinity Flex display that folds inwards to close the device. The company has used a Dynamic AMOLED display with an unusual 4.2:3 aspect ratio. The display had met with some issues initially which delayed the launch but Samsung claims to have fixed that. The phone also features a secondary 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display.
It comes with a 10MP selfie camera on the cover, a 10MP + 8MP dual camera setup on top of the inner flexible screen, and a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 12MP main camera with variable aperture, 16MP ultra wide-angle camera and 12MP telephoto lens.
In India, the Samsung Galaxy Fold could be powered by Exynos 9825 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. However, the company is yet to confirm this. The phone is likely to pack a 4,380mAh battery that is split into two in order to allow the device to fold up. In the US, the phone will be selling at $1,980 which means that the Samsung Galaxy Fold price in India could be somewhere around Rs 1,40,000.
