Flipkart Big Billion Days: Festival sale kickstarts on September 28 with 15 crore items

Flipkart Big Billion Days: E-commerce major Flipkart's festival season sale 'The Big Billion Days' kickstart on Saturday with around 15 cr products across 80 segments, the company said in a statement. The favourite shopping festival will kickstart from the 28th September to 04th October with early access to Flipkart Plus members on 28th & 29th September, at 8:00 PM.  At Flipkart Big Billion Days Mobiles, TVs and appliances, Electronics, Clothing, Home & Furniture, beauty & grooming and more will be up for grabs at jaw-dropping prices. 

"... 80 categories, over 150 million products, lakhs of brands, 1 lakh plus sellers from over 2,000 cities and towns, and for the first time, 1.35 lakh artisans," The Flipkart said in a written statement. The online platform said that it has also designed several affordability solutions for its customers, in partnership with leading financial institutions.

Customers can make use of multiple affordability options such as No Cost EMI and Flipkart Pay Later to buy their wishlisted items. Axis bank Credit and Debit card holders and ICICI bank credit card holders are eligible for an instant 10 per cent discount on all the purchases. Powered by lakhs of sellers, artisans and brands across India, the Flipkart Big Billion Days festival sale is expected to attract major footfall as it is coming at the beginning of the Navratra festival.

According to market research agency techARC, the online festive season will see users upgrading to 4G smartphones from existing 2G and 3G devices and an estimated 10 million smartphones will be sold during the festive season.
