Microsoft education and NASA have partnered to create an online space learning lesson course for school students who are interested in knowing about the space.
Microsoft education and NASA have partnered to create an online space learning lesson course for school students who are interested in knowing about the space. The lessons will be available online, primarily for middle school and high school students. To get benefit from the course, students need Windows 10 and Microsoft office subscription.
According to CNET, an American media website, the partnership of duo companies was a result of a meeting at the International Society for Technology Educators Conference last year, said by Karon Weber, Partner Director at the Microsoft Education Workshop.
The online space lessons course:-
- will be an eight-lesson plan range titles such as 'Designing Astro socks to protect astronauts' feet in micro-gravity to design your own space station, Analyzing the astronauts' photos of the earth to predict climate change, Experiencing micro-gravity by understanding Newton's 2nd and 3rd laws of motion
- The curriculum will include 3-D designing, virtual reality experiences and data analysis lesson.
- Require three or four 50-minute time commitments.
- Cost approx $2 to $3 per student.
The course will complement the teaching syllabus by teachers. It will also give children exposure to machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI)
