Microsoft Windows 10 Password to be killed off; this may be in offing

Your Microsoft Windows 10 PCs may go password-less! Yes, Microsoft is working to make Windows 10 systems and Microsoft account free from all passwords by 2020. However, you will need Windows Hello face authentication, fingerprint or a PIN code to access your Windows 10 PCs. 

While the company has been working on removing passwords from Windows 10 and its Microsoft Accounts for a several months now, the next major update to Windows 10 in 2020 would go one step further, The Verge reported on Thursday. 

The report mentioned that software giant Microsoft believes a PIN code more secured than a password, even if it seems simple to use a four digit code. The tech giant added that servers can be compromised and passwords stolen, but a Windows Hello PIN wouldn't be affected as it stores a private key on a device with a Trusted Platform Module (TPM), which is a secure chip that keeps a PIN local to the user`s device only.

The password option will simply vanish from login screen in your device, if the company will roll-out the new feature next year. Well, the decision is in your hand, that you want to opt this feature or not. If you want, then you simply need to click on the new option  "make your device password-less" during the login time.
